Our Founder

Steve Garcia is the founder and GIG Business Consulting. He has a unique skill-set that comes from experience as a senior financial executive for small and medium sized companies, a small business owner, and a consultant with small and medium sized companies.

Prior to founding our company, Steve served 15 years as a CFO for publicly held and private equity backed companies. His experience encompasses strategic planning, managing board and private equity relationships, investor relations, legal matters, and all areas of finance and accounting. Steve has significant experience with working for companies with global markets and operations. He has successful led the sale of non-core operations and entire businesses, and he has turnaround experience as well as successful Chapter 11 execution.

Steve began his career at Deloitte & Touche, serving five years in the attestation services group. Altogether, Steve has more than 25 years of executive finance and accounting experience.
